Partner: Studio 88
Studio 88 was born from a simple idea: to create the kind of art space its founders always wished existed. After moving from Poland to Da Nang, Dagmara and Mike set out to build a place where contemporary art could bring people together, spark conversations, and create meaningful connections across cultures.
Founded by a duo with backgrounds in high-end interiors and visual merchandising, Studio 88 approaches exhibitions as experiences rather than displays. Every project is an opportunity to tell a story, introduce new perspectives, and connect local and international artists with an engaged community.
The collective opened with a solo exhibition by Neil Wheelock DeForest Smith, setting the tone for Studio 88's commitment to international artistic dialogue from day one. Since then, it has collaborated with organizations and creative partners including The Hechyemoyeyo, Studio Indigo, Towards Peace, CORMIS Vietnam, Bruma Concept at Hyatt Regency Da Nang, the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Poland in Da Nang, and SeedEats Da Nang.
Today, Studio 88 continues to grow as an independent platform that champions contemporary art, cross-cultural collaboration, and the belief that meaningful connections often begin with a single exhibition.
Partner:
Shu Livecoding
Shù is a cultural promoter working across live coding, experimental music, digital art, and community-based creative technology.
In 2026, Shù organized The Branching Signal, a cross-city live coding program connecting artists and communities from Chiang Mai, Shanghai, Bangkok, Yogyakarta, Mexico City, Buenos Aires, Seoul, San Francisco, and Gwangju. The program included both online and IRL performances, local screenings, and collaborative live coding sessions using tools such as Flok, Strudel, Hydra, and SuperCollider.
Shù has also hosted hands-on workshops such as the Signal Lab Workshop in Shanghai, introducing participants to browser-based live coding music with Strudel and glitch visual performance with Hydra. The workshop was co-presented with 706 and involved artists including Catherine Rong and Rangga Purnama Aji.
In addition, Shù is developing an ongoing global pop-up workshop program aimed at building an international network of live coders. This initiative focuses on knowledge exchange, skill sharing, and collaborative performances across different local contexts.
Across its programs, Shù has worked with 15+ artists and creative practitioners from Asia, Latin America, and North America, including live coders, visual artists, sound artists, and experimental performers.
We recommend Shù as a strong partner for projects related to live coding, experimental audiovisual performance, creative technology education, and cross-cultural artist/community exchange.
